Welcome to the homepage for Art Brucks. I have been enjoying a career as a State Farm Insurance Agent since 1980. Mary Scott and I have been married for over 30 years now and she is an owner of a Gold Crown Hallmark store in Fort Worth, Texas. We are involved in teaching Adult Bible Study and serve on mission ministries in our Church as well as in other organizations. Bible Study Fellowship is a past time we particularly enjoy. Our two daughters Rachel and Rebecca have moved out of the house , married and started their own families, leaving us empty nesters...if you want to call it that with four dogs ( Zoe, Sophie, Zip and Dixie ) ! This year we added a new addition to the family with out first grand baby - Averi Grace Pulliam, which Rebecca lets us baby sit from time to time. Rachel and Jack occasionally allow us to baby sit the grand-dogs Tex & Belle.
In 2008 I completed my terms as Chairman of the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce as well as Chairman of the Johnson County Economic Development Commission. I also serve on the Advisory Board for the Meals on Wheels of Johnson County and the Burleson Pregancy Aid Center. I am also in the Burleson Rotary Club where I am a Paul Harris Fellow and served as their President in 2002.
